B MOVIE: A Film About Banksy

A short documentary about Banksy by Banksy… Just watch it.

This is an extra on the Gift Shop DVD, and it really drives home what a weird microcosm/parallel Mr. Brainwash’s rise in the art world was to Banksy’s own.  Grist for the mill if you think it was (just) a hoax, but more likely it gave Banksy the experience to know what was going on and how best he could capture and creatively capitalize on it.  Anyways, I hope Gift Shop gets the Oscar because I can’t wait to see what Banksy would do with that moment.
